This EVSE adapter allows connections between our portable EVSEs and a standard 120v outlet (USA).
The adapter includes a NEMA 14-50 receptacle on one end and a 5-15 plug (standard) on the other. Internal wiring for the 14-50 is custom for this application - it connects hot and neutral on the 5-15 plug to the two hot lines in the 14-50 (not the neutral). Standard mobile home park adapters will not work for this application because they assume the use of the neutral wire on the 240v side. Because of the custom wiring, this adapter cannot be used for other 240v appliances.
