This bare bones kit is still powerful enough to give you chills. The programmable Alltrax controller is the easiest to wire and can easily be de-tuned for youngsters. Good for about 45mph. Reversing the motor direction on the fly will require a set of reversing contactors, or check out the next kit. Components only, no chassis. This kit comes with a 48v contactor (for a 48v battery pack) unless specified otherwise. Batteries sold separately.
Kit includes:
- Motenergy ME0909 brushed motor
- Alltrax SR 48300 controller (24-48V 300amps peak). We'll throw in the pre-charge resistor and diode for this kit.
- PB-8 Throttle (Can also be supplied with a Domino twist throttle for motorcycles)
- Tyco LEV200 sealed main contactor
- 2' motor cables
