The Jackal Electric Bike is a high-powered, high performance off-road* electric cycle. It has been jointly developed and is manufactured in Northern California with Rotator Recumbent Bicycles, renown for performance bicycles. Rotator hand-crafts the chro-moly tube frame. Welds are brazed for maximum strength with minimal thermal stress. Frame and platform are powder-coated in a variety of colors (Red, Green, Black, Blue, custom available on request). Thunderstruck takes it from there, marrying high-end components from the downhill and BMX bicycle industries, and durable high-powered electronics from the EV industry. Our expertise in drag racing has led to the optimization of the Jackal drive system. The Jackal holds a NEDRA record for 48V Concept Vehicle. The Jackal can develop up to 15 pk HP with massive low-end torque. This results in head-whipping acceleration, which can be easily custom-tamed using the programmable Alltrax controller, serial cable, and Windows XP/NT. |
