Affordable air-cooled ac induction drive systems that are available in four different motor sizes and in horse power ratings from 18 to 50 hp peak. The ultimate in power and efficiency, AC drives offer the best regen, highest rpm's, excellent torque, and are very reliable. Systems start at 36 volts and 75 ft-pounds of torque and go to 108 volts and 115 ft/lb. Costing a fraction of their earlier water-cooled AC drives, these systems are used to power go-carts, motorcycles, small sports cars, or even light trucks up to 3,800 pounds. These drive systems are sold as a kit that comes complete with Motor, Curtis controller, control wiring harness, and a gauge called the Spyglass (model 840) that displays rpm, controller/motor temperature, volts, and amps. The controllers are set up per the customer's request, and usually require no additional programming. These systems Do Not require an additional inverter and use a DC battery voltage input. Motor warranty is for 2 years, controller warranty is for 1 year. 

All AC kits include Motor, Controller ,wire harness, and Spy Glass (Model 840).

There is a typical lead time of two to four weeks for these kits. Due to recent changes in international shipping regulations for large/heavy packages, we ask that you give us a call or email to discuss your preferred shipping method. Air freight can take an additional week. Maritime freight can take 4-6 weeks.
